Interested in real estate ever since she could remember, Kristen McMurry merged her lifelong passion with her professional pursuits when she founded McMurry Legal Group, LLC. Having lived in six states and three countries, Kristen had a personal understanding and fascination in the excitement and joy a new home brings. She graduated Pennsylvania State University in 2004 earning a triple major in Marketing, International Business and International Studies and double minor in French and Economics. Demonstrating leadership as well as mental and physical fortitude, she tutored over 300 students in economics and acquired a walk on position with the women's ice hockey team playing left wing and goalie.
After becoming a licensed real estate agent and navigating the market crash in 2009, she gained experience and skills that would prove to be invaluable. While many viewed the market crash as an insurmountable obstacle, Kristen let it serve as motivation to expand her knowledge and pursue a law degree. Her hard work and determination came to fruition in 2014 when she graduated Cum Laude with a Juris Doctor from Atlanta's John Marshall Law School. In 2015 she obtained her broker's license in Georgia and earned broker reciprocity in Alabama in 2021.
Maintaining that momentum, Kristen kicked off 2022 by founding Emerald Heights Realty and Panorama Real Estate School in Georgia. It is her job to protect her clients, but her philosophy that by offering support and education, her clients can also better protect themselves.
An approachable demeanor and an acute sense of attention to detail have been paramount to her overall success. She has both a comprehensive understanding of complex concepts and terminology, and the ability to deconstruct them in understandable ways. The combination of skills has allowed her to be an effective teacher to those with little to no experience as well as industry veterans alike. In her spare time Kristen enjoys riding horses, collecting My Little Ponies, doing 9000+ piece puzzles, roller skating, mountain biking and spending as much time as possible with her husband, son, and Cavalier King Charles Spaniels.
